Kisumu Frisbee Club (KFC) and Kenya Flying Disc Federation will be hosting Frisbee Ultimate players from East Africa in Kisumu at the annual Lake Victoria Grass Ultimate Tournament, now in its 3rd Edition. LVGUT III will bring together approximately 200 young people of different nationalities and ethnic backgrounds to Kisumu on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2018 at the Kisumu Polytechnic.

Clubs from Kampala, Kakamega, Nairobi and Kisumu will be bringing their A game, and to top it all there shall also be a test match between East Africa Ultimate Powerhouses Kenya Vs. Uganda locking Horns in the Return Leg on Sunday June 3rd.

This is a family event that you would not want to miss! Entry for spectators is free.

The teams this year are:

  1. Uganda: Impala Ultimate Club and Magnum Opus Ultimate Club
  2. Kenya: Kakamega Frisbee Club, KEMRI Frisbee Club, Nairobi Ultimate Club and 2 Teams from the Host Kisumu Frisbee Club.

This tournament is not only an annual tournament for Kisumu Frisbee Club but it is also part of the club’s preparations for the World Ultimate Club Championships in Cincinnati, Ohio, the USA from July 14th – 21st 2018. Kisumu will be representing the continent alongside their South African Counterparts UCT Tigers in the Mixed Division.

The stakes are high; Country Pride is at stake! Club Pride is at stake! Clubs are out to showcase their technical and athletic prowess! Scores are there to be settled in the most spirited way!
