Through its hospitality arm, the property developers of Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel have now unveiled a homegrown hospitality brand known as Acacia Hotels. The new hospitality brand is part of Simba Corporations’s strategic plan to tap into the tourism market with an expected sector rebound.
The Acacia Hotels, will be spearheaded through a roll-out of premier and express hotels aptly branded as Acacia Premier and Acacia Express respectively. Presently, Acacia Hotels has opened the doors to its flagship premier brand – Acacia Premier Hotel in Kisumu City to target the business and leisure travelers both at a domestic and international level.
According to the group’s Chief Hospitality Officer, Nazir Khamisa, the Acacia brand which benchmarks against global standards in the hospitality industry, promises a wide range of food & beverage offerings, world class service and excellent ambiance.
The Acacia brand, which is Kenya’s latest homegrown hospitality brand, is redefining hospitality in Kenya. Through this brand, we intend to raise the bar in the local hospitality industry by offering exceptional four star service for three star prices.
Eventually, we aim to open up a chain of Acacia Hotels across the country and the East African region,” Mr Khamisa said.
The flagship Acacia Premier in Kisumu comprises of 94 modern and spacious guest rooms including 4 bay-suites and the region’s only presidential-suite. Acacia also offers superior conferencing and banqueting facilities as well as a wide range of culinary experiences to choose from.
Acacia’s food & beverage program boasts of a coffee lounge, a bar, an all-day dining restaurant and a pool bar & grill.
